Four masterpieces of recital music for an unforgettable evening: Francis Poulenc's Le Bestiaire, Fauré's La Bonne Chanson, Arnold Schönberg's Waldsonne op. 2 no. 4 and Gustav Mahler's Rückert-Lieder. Performing these works are two talented artists: baritone Huw Montague Rendall, who has recently appeared at the Paris Opera, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall, and Hélio Vida, Brazilian pianist and conductor. Their duo has recently been celebrated for its ‘very high quality of interpretation, singing, piano playing and intelligence between the two’ (ResMusica).
